'' And the day came when the risk to remain in a tight bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ''
The weather is finally starting to warm up a little bit and I couldn't be happier! Time to store away all these heavy winter coats that seem to have become a part of me, like a second skin rather than a garment. I seem to have run into a bit of writer's block this week and I'm quite uncertain about what to dedicate this post to. I was scrolling through my camera roll and ran into a couple photos I rather admire but never shared so.... here's my chance! Now I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I've ever seen flowers outside the usual colours. The various shades of pink, red, yellow, and white. However, when I got to Amsterdam that quickly changed. They have such a refreshing variety! When I saw these blue tulips casually sitting in a vase on the counter it was such a pleasent surprise! Blue Tulips are actually considered a royal flower, they symbolise loyalty, unity, and trust. Isn't that too cute?! Anyway, I hope you enjoy these photos!
